# shefrd brand

Steven chose this set on Wed 2026-09-30, after four picker rounds. The final round is
`notes/libraries/default/shefrd/branding/logo-picker-2026-10-r4.html`, and the decision is
recorded in that folder's `README.md`.

- **Primary (s2).** The e1a mark is a prompt with a crook for its cursor. The terminal
  and wordmark form is `›⌠shefrd`: U+203A, then U+2320, then the name.
- **Alternate (s5), in `alternate/`.** The b2s5 mark is a staff through a pane box, and
  its form is `⌠›shefrd`. It is kept on file and not used anywhere yet.

The crook is amber and everything else takes the ink of its ground: `#e8a33d` on
`#14171c`, and `#b8701d` on `#f8f7f4`. The chevron in the mark is `#f4e3c4` on dark.

Text is converted to outlines, so nothing here needs a font installed. The letters and
the prompt are JetBrains Mono 700. The crook is Cascadia Mono 700 (OFL), because
JetBrains Mono has no U+2320. In a terminal, the reader's own font draws it.

The generator lives beside the picker, in `branding/brand-build/`. Paths here never
