# Linkstash source-run visual candidates — 2026-09-25

These are real pixels from the current Linkstash Svelte web and Bun/Hono API, with seven deliberately fictional `.example.test` bookmarks in a disposable SQLite database. The repo source was `d7abd9a`; the app behavior itself was already at `5e855bc`. The API ran with `DATABASE_URL=file:/var/tmp/linkstash-i17-capture.db`, `LINKSTASH_DISABLE_METADATA=1`, and local port 3011; Vite ran at `http://localhost:5181`. One Cedar link was saved through the actual web form and six more were inserted through the actual `/api/bookmarks` and `/api/collections` routes. No fixture URL was fetched, no customer data was read, and the API, Vite server, and screenshot receiver were stopped after capture.

CUA Chrome returned original JFIF/JPEG screenshot bytes: the four paired still subjects are `home`, `search`, `collections`, and a `collection` membership view. Those originals remain in `source/`. The paired PNGs are container conversions using ImageMagick only; no UI text was repainted or mocked. `source/raw-{light,dark}-frames.tar.gz` and `source/raw-frame-sha256.txt` hold the 30-frame source sequences. The dark sequence's first frame still showed the light theme during the toggle and was excluded from the dark WebM. `search-interaction-{light,dark}.webm` are silent VP8 **edited frame sequences** at 6 fps from actual CUA browser interaction: typing a search term against the real API, not uninterrupted real-time screen recordings. The current browser viewport is short and only partly shows the filtered card near the lower edge, so these are review footage, not polished final films.

`poster-source.py` takes a crop from each real search PNG and adds release-specific vector title, truthful synthetic-fixture marker, and a callout to the saved description. `poster-draft-{light,dark}.png` are paired editorial candidates, not yet approved public heroes. No claim here covers browser-extension capture, authentication, unlimited retrieval, live hosting, or customer data. Linkstash remains source-run with an unauthenticated API; the ordinary list and picker still stop at 50 and 100 items respectively.

Open: independent visual/truth review, poster selection or revision, hosted media byte verification, licensed Cartesia WAV and listening review, Remotion animated light/dark films, precisely timed captions, full video/audio QA, and public changelog linking. This folder is a review branch candidate; neither silent WebM is a narrated release film.
