# Proposed Gitdex source-filter release story

1. **Set the boundary.** Show the public Gitdex static landing and explain that the product UI segment uses a fictional loopback API. No GitHub token or provider sync is shown.
2. **See two configured sources.** Use the real Solid frontend Dashboard, then Inventory. Identify `fictional-person` and `fictional-lab` as fixture accounts; do not call the health values live calculations.
3. **Narrow the working view.** In the actual Inventory UI, change the source dropdown to `organization: fictional-lab`; the rows change from two personal fixture repositories to two lab fixture repositories. Pair light and dark captures.
4. **Explain the open edge.** The source filter is shipped frontend behavior, while provider identity across rename/transfer and incomplete sync metadata remain separate product work. The standalone landing is public; the app is not hosted.

The paired PNG stills, silent edited WebMs and poster studies are review media only. A future Remotion cut should add editorial motion, annotations and timed captions over verified pixels; Cartesia narration waits for an authorized usable credential. The finished film and final poster cannot be claimed from this fixture capture.
